Pattaya police have confirmed that Pattaya is safe after they have increased security measurements following bombs in Bangkok on Friday, August 2nd, 2019. Last night Pattaya police set up checkpoints on Sukhumvit road in South Pattaya.

They checked every vehicle that goes through checkpoints. Lt Col Saranphong Maithongkunthorn of the Pattaya City Police says, “Following bombs in Bangkok, we want to make sure that people and tourists in Pattaya are safe.”
