Bangkok to assist vendors of 5 Prawet markets being shut down

BANGKOK, 27th February 2018 (NNT) – Bangkok officials are to provide reparations to vendors at the five Prawet district markets that are being shut down.

Bangkok Governor Pol Gen Assawin Kwanmuang, has held a meeting of the city’s officials to discuss all facts pertaining to the markets surrounding the Sangyoktrakarn family home. The markets meanwhile, have been found to have been operating illegally. All relevant data is to be presented to the Central Administrative Court on March 2 at a hearing called after the Sangyoktrakarn family filed charges against the governor and his office over allegedly neglecting complaints about the markets’ operations.
