CHIANG MAI, 31 January 2018 (NNT) – Army Region 3 has assisted Chiang Mai provincial officials in conducting a forest fire fighting drill as part of efforts to address the area’s annual haze problem.

Army Region 3 Commander Lt Gen Wijak Siribansop, as director of the Regional Forest Fire and Haze Prevention and Mitigation Center, chaired the launch of this year’s forest fire fighting drill alongside Chiang Mai Governor Pawin Chamniprasas.
