Chumphon villages shaken by 2.9-magnitude earthquake

The Seismological Bureau yesterday confirmed that a magnitude-2.9 earthquake hit Chumphon’s Lang Suan district on Thursday evening.

The bureau initially said the tremor that occurred in Tambon Bangnamjued in the district at 6.24pm was not a quake but probably due to land subsidence.
