Australian Counterterrorism Police Arrest Two Teenagers in Sydney

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The counterterrorism unit of Australia’s New South Wales (NSW) state on Wednesday arrested two men in Sydney’s suburb of Bankstown, the press service of the NSW Police Force said in a statement.

“The NSW Joint Counter-Terrorism Team has arrested two 17-year-old males in Bankstown this afternoon. Officers seized two knives and the pair remains in custody,” the statement said.
