KOH PANGAN:– Security was tight as thousands of foreign and Thai tourists arrived for the monthly full moon party on Koh Pangan last night.

A large amount of police, checkpoints and scanning equipment was deployed as the authorities moved to assure the safety of the revelers. And it seemed to work as there were no reports of serious incidents.
