Police arrest Dutch man in Nana on charge of hiring Thais to extort money from business colleague

BANGKOK:– Police have arrested a 34 year old man from the Netherlands on a charge that he hired two Thai men to extort two million baht owed to him by a business colleague.

Jerrith Willem van der Veld (name transliterated from Thai) was arrested on a warrant Friday but denies the charges.
