Govt confident number of tourists will be higher than last year despite crackdown on zero dollar tours

BANGKOK, 30 September 2016 (NNT) – Despite the recent efforts to suppress “zero dollar” tours, the Thai government is confident that the number of tourists this year will be higher than the previous year.

Deputy Prime Minister General Thanasak Patimapakorn presided over the meeting aimed at solving zero dollar tour problems. He revealed that the move to crack down on dodgy tour agents would not reduce the number of tourists traveling to Thailand.
