Bung Kum district police have been ordered to launch a crackdown on illegal car racing on the New Kasetnawamin road which has reportedly caused a lot of nuisance to people living in the neighbourhood.

Metropolitan police commissioner Pol Lt-Gen Sanit Mahathavorn said Tuesday that he had already seen a video clip of the illegal street racing, but had to find out first whether it was actually a street racing or just a preparation for racing.
