10 Uyghurs escape immigrant prison

NONG KHAI, 20 September 2016 (NNT) – 10 Uighurs detained at an immigration checkpoint in Nong Khai province had escaped an immigrant prison. Nine of them were later arrested.

After the illegal immigrants escaped, immigration officers cooperated with village headmen to search for them at train stations, government places and abandoned buildings. All of the Uyghurs are men.
