Nineteen red-shirt leaders surrender

Nineteen people of red-shirt movement Tuesday appeared at the Crime Suppression Division to acknowledge charges of violating the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) ban on political gatherings in connection with a bid to open centres to monitor fraud in the referendum.

The 19, led by United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship chairman Jatuporn Prompan, organised a Bangkok press conference in June to open the anti-fraud centres nationwide.
