The kamnan of Tambon Ta Kae in Pattani’s Yaring district was shot dead when he was drinking tea at a teashop with some friends Saturday morning.

A group of men armed with assault rifles on an Isuzu D-Max pickup truck opened fire at kamnan Abdulloh Sideh, 56, while he was drinking tea at a teashop 100 metres from his home in Ban Moo 2 of Tambon Ta Kae.
