Bangkok’s high rises shaken by 6.8 magnitude earthquake in central Myanmar

BANGKOK, 24 August 2016 (NNT) – People in several buildings in Bangkok reported being shaken by a 6.8 magnitude earthquake which struck central Myanmar early in the evening of Wednesday.

The jolts were felt in high rises in other parts of the capital including Ratchadapisek, Klong Tan and Klong Toey areas. People in buildings in Chiang Mai province were also reportedly shaken.
