A lone robber made off with over 100,000 baht in cash from a Bangkok Bank’s branch office in Tesco Lotus modern trade store in Lampang after intimidating a teller that he had a gun.

According to eyewitnesses, the robber, aged about 50 and wore a mask, walked into the bank at about 1.20 pm. He walked straight to Counter 2 and told the teller to hand over cash in the drawer to him claiming that he had a gun.
