PAD petition Supreme Court to oppose withdrawing the case against its leaders from the court

The People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) today (Wednesday) petitioned the Supreme Court president and the panel of judges of the Supreme Court’s criminal division for political office holders expressing its opposition to a proposal of the National Anti-Corruption Commission to withdraw a court case regarding the government crackdown on PAD protesters eight years ago.

The petition was submitted by former core leader of the PAD, Mr Phipob Thongchai, lawyer Nitithorn Lumlua and some of the protesters.
