NBTC told to keep cellular service fees low for consumers

BANGKOK, 22 April 2016 (NNT) – The NBTC Inspection and Evaluation Commission (NIEC) has criticized the telecommunications regulator’s handling of issues surrounding mobile phone services.

NIEC commissioner Amornthep Jirattiticharoen said the NBTC, or National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission, could have done more to keep mobile network fees lower and reclaim frequencies from state agencies.
