Foreigner injured, minivan damaged by falling tree in Khao Lak

PHUKET: One man was injured and two vehicles damaged when high winds caused an old tree to fall on Takhua Pa-Thai Muang Rd near the Khao Lak police checkpoint in Phang Nga on Tuesday evening (Feb 9).

The Khao Lak Rescue Centre received a call from a local resident at 5pm stating that strong winds had brought down a huge tree down on the busy road in front of the Phor Ta Khao Lak Shrine and police checkpoint in Takua Pa.
