Another cold snap to hit North, Northeast

BANGKOK, 1 February 2016 (NNT) – The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation warns people in 37 northern and northeastern provinces to brace for another cold snap this week after the Meteorological Department forecast that temperatures will drop by 2 – 4 C further.

Director-General of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Chatchai Phromlert said the department had informed the governors of the 37 provinces—17 in the North and 20 in the Northeast—of the cold weather.
