Plane with 2 Canadians forced to land near Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai — A small plane with two Canadians on board made an emergency landing in a cassava plantation in Phrao district on Sunday morning after developing engine trouble, media reported.

Pol Maj Gen Warub Lenkham, the duty office at Long Khot police station, said a team was dispatched to the cassava plantation after the accident was reported at 10.30am.
