Number of patients with type A influenza in Thailand likely to rise: WHO

BANGKOK, 14 December 2015 (NNT) – Public Health Minister Piyasakol Sakolsattayatorn said the World Health Organization (WHO)’s report in November 2015 indicated that the number of patients with influenza in most Asia countries is likely to decrease.

However, in some countries the number of patients with Type A influenza is likely to increase, including Qatar, Bahrain, India, Laos and Thailand, according to the WHO report.
