Bangkok: Over 30 houses gutted in Soi Polo slum

Over 250 residents were left homeless after more than 30 houses in a slum located between Soi Polo 6 and Soi Polo 7 in Lumpini area were gutted by a fire early Sunday morning.

Lumpini police were alerted of the fire in the slum at about 2.30 a.m. by some of the residents and fire trucks were later rushed to the scene to control the fire.
