Thailand ranks near bottom of English proficiency index

Thailand is rated as a non-English speaking country with very low English proficiency, ranking the 14th out of 16 countries in Asia and the 62nd out of 70 countries worldwide, according to the EF English Proficiency Index 2015 of Education First Language Institute.

The EF English Proficiency Index is the world’s most comprehensive ranking of countries by adult English skills.
