No aftershock reported after 4 magnitude quake in southern Thailand

BANGKOK, 20 February 2015 (NNT) – No aftershock has been detected after the 4.0 magnitude earthquake in Phang Nga province earlier today, says the BEG Director.

The Director of the Bureau of Environment Geology (BEG) Somboon Khositanont has revealed that there is still no detectable aftershocks in wake of the earthquake in Phang Nga province of southern Thailand. The tremors of the initial quake could be felt in the provinces of Phang Nga and Phuket.
