The driver of a small truck that hit and killed a woman in the heart of Bangkok on Thursday was found to have used methamphetamine (‘yaba’) before getting behind the wheel.

Police have charged Suriya Sukbua, 30, with drug abuse and reckless driving causing the death of another person.
