BANGKOK, 7 October 2014 (NNT) – The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation made known that provinces across Thailand continue to experience a range of natural disasters including floods.
The department said heavy overnight rains during the past two days have triggered widespread floods in Satun, affecting nearly 10,000 people. Water levels appear to be receding and the situation is expected to return to normal in 2 days’ time.
