Former Thai Comedian gets 22 months in prison for dealing with crystal meth

BANGKOK, 31 July 2014 (NNT) – The Criminal Court has sentenced a former Thai comedian to 1 year and 10 months in jail on drug-related charges. He was also fined 150,000 baht as part of the punishment.

Kanokpong Anurakjanyong, widely known as “Mcca Chuanchuen”, was charged with possession and distribution of crystallized methamphetamine or “ya-ice” by the Criminal Court.
