Bangkok is placed on full alert with several thousand of police and military personnel deployed to prevent confrontation when anti-government protesters and pro-government supporters planned mass rallies tomorrow.

Spokesperson of the Center for Maintaining Peace and Order (CMPO) Sirima Sunawin said National police deputy commissioner f Pol Gen Worapong Chewpreecha will be in charge of security measures.
