Independent bodies propose setting up of mediating panel to end rifts

BANGKOK, 17 MARCH 2014 (NNT) – Six independent organizations will spearhead the establishment of a neutral body, which will aim to negotiate with the two political poles in a bid to reunite the country.

A six-point negotiation roadmap has been put forth by the six private organizations, which comprise the Election Commission, the Office of the Ombudsman, the National Human Rights Commission, the National Economic and Social Advisory Council, the National Anti-Corruption Commission and the Office of the Auditor General.
