TAK, March 25 – At least 29 people were killed and 23 injured Monday as their chartered bus careered off a winding hillside road into a ravine in the northern province of Tak.

The bus rented for a group of older local government staff from Tha Sai Luat subdistrict of Tak’s Mae Sot district for a study trip to the northeastern province of Ubon Ratchathani plunged into a 30-metre-deep ravine on the Tak-Mae Sot Road.
