A fully-fitted casino hidden in a fortified luxury house in East Pattaya was raided by more than 50 police and district officials last night, with more than 60 people detained and nearly 200,000 baht in cash seized.

Following a tip-off from concerned individuals in the area, police entered the house in the Little Venice Housing Estate off Soi Siam Country Club, after detaining the building’s two armed security guards, one of whom is a serving member of the Thai Army.
