Protesters march across capital to get support for ‘Bangkok Shutdown’

BANGKOK, Jan 5 – The anti-government movement, the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC), today marched throughout Bangkok to drum up support for the planned mass demonstration “Bangkok Shutdown” starting from January 13 onward.

PDRC leader Suthep Thaugsuban led the crowds from the main rally site of Democracy Monument, passing through Baan Mor, Pak Khlong Talat (flower market), Pahurat, and Charoen Krung Road before returning to the Rachdamnoen Avenue.
