Free Wi-Fi service for tourists in four key tourist attractions

BANGKOK, 26 December 2013 (NNT) – CAT Telecom has opened free Wi-Fi services in four tourist attractions in the hope of helping promote visiting Thailand campaigns.

CAT Telecom, the country’s largest telecommunication service provider, in cooperation with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, has launched “Travelling Thailand Nationwide, Online Worldwide”, a service aimed at increasing online capability for tourists who want to stay connected to the world while they are on tour in Thailand.

Tourists can avail themselves to the use of video conference at no charge through CAT MPLS and free Wifi in Chiang Mai, Phuket, Chonburi and Prachaub Khirikhan from now on until April, according to Virote Tocharoenvanich from CAT Telecom.
