Drug dealers arrested in Bangkok with 800000 meth pills

BANGKOK, March 2 – Six suspects, two Thais and four ethnic Tai Yai, were arrested by Thai authorities with 800,000 methamphetamine pills and 16kg of crystal meth or ‘ice’ were seized at two residential buildings Phra Pradaeng district in Samut Prakan and in Nonthaburi.

Pol Maj-Gen Surapol Tuanthong, deputy chief of the Narcotics Suppression Bureau, told a press conference that narcotics police had earlier arrested Sarawut Munkong, a known drug dealer in the Ram Indra and Lad Prakhao areas, at Samut Prakarn’s Bang Phli district in possession of five kilos of ice.
