Thai singer Phatchara Waengwan dies in road accident
Former singer Phatchara Waengwan died yesterday of injuries sustained in a road accident several days ago in the United States, where she had lived for 20 years. She was 48.
News of the accident and her death started spreading in online media yesterday morning, before news reports and television coverage confirmed it later in the evening. Her relatives reportedly coordinated with Thai consular officials in Los Angeles for the return of her body to Thailand for a funeral, possibly at Wat Sai Mai in northern Bangkok.
