PATTANI, Sept 29 — Two people were killed in separate but related to insurgent incidents in the southern province of Pattani, while a roadside electrical post was damaged by a bomb in apparent retaliation against authorities by suspected insurgents.

A 43-year-old medicine peddler who was also a police informant was shot dead at a market in front of mosque in Pattani.
