Vietnam Airlines cancels four flights due to storm

Hanoi, August 1 (VNA) – Vietnam Airlines has said it has cancelled four flights between Hanoi and Taipei, and Ho Chi Minh City and Taipei as of July 31 due to tropical storm Saola.

The airline also said it is likely to cancel six additional flights to Taipei on August 1-2. About 1,600 passengers who are affected by those cancelled flights will be arranged to fly in regular or additional flights scheduled for August 2.

Currently, Vietnam Airlines operates two Hanoi-Taipei flights and two Ho Chi Minh-Taipei flights every day.
