Thai, Chilean ministers join hands on agriculture

BANGKOK, Aug 15 – Thailand and Chile joined hands on agriculture with a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by both countries’ agriculture ministers on Wednesday.

Chilean Agriculture Minister Luis Mayo Bouchon and delegates from Chile met with Thailand’s counterpart Theera Wongsamut. Both ministers agreed to cooperate on agriculture involving technical exchange on hygiene standard and plant sanitation in hope that the collaboration will help boost bilateral trade on agriculture.
