A British and an American woman were injured in a fight involving a knife over the weekend. Police were called to the Diana Apartments in Soi Kao Ta Lo in East Pattaya and to room number 6 on 1st floor occupied by Miss Leila El Qawas aged 29 from UK and a 52 year old American woman who refused to give her real name.

She had sustained a deep laceration to her head which was reportedly caused by a knife belonging to Miss El Qawas who had minor injuries consistent with a punch on the side of the face.
