Red-shirt MP Jatuporn Prompan Escapes Lese Majeste Charge

The special investigation agency has decided against filing a lese majeste charge against a red-shirt core leader and Pheu Thai MP, given his rally speech was not violation of the law.

Director General of the Department of Special Investigation Tharit Pengdit said the evidence his agency has collected suggested the rally speech by Pheu Thai party-list MP Jatuporn Prompan on April 10, 2010, did not violate the Criminal Code’s Article 112 on lese majeste.
