Two Taiwanese fishing boats seized for allegedly smuggling diesel oil into Phuket

Thai customs officials have arrested two Taiwanese captains and 12 Taiwanese and Indonesian crew members after their two tuna fishing boats were found to have smuggled 47,000 litres of diesel oil into Phuket.

The two boats were found floating about two nautical miles north of Taphao Yai Island in Phuket.
