Korean Tourist suspected of being drugged and robbed in Pattaya

A Korean tourist was found in a semi-conscious state on the street by rescue worker on Tuesday Night.

Residents in Soi Khopai in South Pattaya called the emergency services when they saw the man lying in front of an apartment complex. The man was unable to give his name but is thought to be aged in his forties. He did indicate he was Korean but could not speak English or Thai which made further communication with him very difficult.

The man was taken to the Pattaya Memorial Hospital as a precaution following a suspicion he had been drugged and robbed. A mobile phone and wallet are believed to have been stolen.
