A Lampang schoolgirl yesterday was chased by two men on a motorcycle who were after her gold necklace, but she managed to knock one of them out with her helmet while the other one stabbed her repeatedly before fleeing.

Phawinee Inthiya, 17, a twelfth grader at the prestigious Lampang Kalyanee School, was under intensive hospital care for five knife wounds, including one on her left breast.
