Police officer, relative of Democrat MP, killed in Pattani

PATTANI, Dec 7 – A policeman was shot dead on Wednesday by a gunman passenger on a motorcycle in this southern border province, according to a senior local police officer.

Pol Col Somporn Meesuk, chief of the Pattani municipality police station, said the incident took place on a Pattani-Yala Road 410 in the provincial seat.
