More than 50 firearms and ammunition found buried in Narathiwat

NARATHIWAT, Dec 24 — More than 50 assault rifles and ammunition were found buried at a rubber plantation in the southern province of Narathiwat during a joint search operation conducted by police and military forces.

On Saturday afternoon, police from Rueso District Police Station and military special forces, in a joint operation, searched possible hiding places for an armory of the Runda Kumpulan Kecil (RKK) insurgent group in Narathiwat’s Rueso district.
