Thaksin ‘will refuse’ royal pardon

Former Thai prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra on Sunday issued a statement insisting that he will not accept any benefit from the proposed royal pardon decree for bringing about national reconciliation, reports said.

The hand-written statement was issued in Dubai and distributed to reporters this morning by Noppadon Pattama, a legal advisor to Thaksin.
