Flood death toll in Thailand rises to 594

A total of 595 people were confirmed dead and two people were missing in the floods that have inundated many provinces of Thailand for more than three months, the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department reported on Saturday.

The floods still prevail in 18 provinces, affecting 1,921,263 households, the department said.
