Thai Immigration and DSI crack human trafficking operation

A human trafficking operation has been uncovered by Pattaya Immigration officers in cooperation with the Department of Special Investigations (DSI).

Initially the DSI received a letter from the Laos Embassy in Bangkok who detailed allegations made to them by a 21 year old Laos woman in July this year concerning a Karaoke Bar in the Plu Ta Luang area in Sattahip District which was accused of illegally employing hostesses from Laos.
