Samut Prakan is Thailand’s most likely scene of poll-related violence: Police

BANGKOK, June 14 – Samut Prakan, immediately east-southeast of the capital, has been identified as Thailand’s most likely province to experience political violence in the lead up to the July 3 general election as likely to rise in other areas designated as ‘red zones’ which are at risk of election-related violence.

The province also is home to Suvarnabhumi Airport, Thailand’s main international gateway serving Bangkok.
