One killed, one severely wounded in Narathiwat shooting

NARATHIWAT, June 8 – One villager was gunned down while his wife was seriously wounded by gunshots Wednesday morning in Sungai Padi district in this southern border province of Narathiwat, according to local police.

Monthon Samthitabdee, 50, was shot dead and his wife Boonsri Tonkam, 44, was badly hurt after the couple was attacked by two unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle.
