BANGKOK, 7 May 2011 (NNT) – The People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) has declared that its prolonged rally will be terminated after the World Heritage Committee (WHC) Meeting regardless of the result.
Following the PAD’s meeting with the Kingdom of Thailand Defense Committee, PAD core leader Chamlong Srimuang revealed that the group had decided to proceed with the demonstration on Ratchadamnoen Nok Avenue despite the House dissolution. However, he announced that the gathering would be called off immediately after the conclusion of the next WHC Meeting from late this month to early next month without taking into account the outcome of the meeting.
